We have since 1965 a far-reaching specialization in conventional treatment, as well as in minimally invasive treatment. In 2002 a Da Vinci Robot was installed as one of the first in Europe. Our vast experience and expertise makes us pioneer in robotic surgery.
A real team player in the OLV hospital with 5 staff members having developed a sub-specialisation in the field of Obstetrics or in Gynaecology. Benign as well as malignant tumours are removed with the assistance of the Da Vinci Robot.
Since 1980 various new techniques were developed, among which, the total endoscopic heart surgery. Today our team consists of 6 surgeons annually performing many operations with far-reaching specialisation in valve surgery.
